My Role

In mid-2018, I was brought in to focus on the Volvo brand, which also shares a foundation with the Mack brand. As a user experience designer, I work on a wide range of multi-brand projects spanning strategy, human-machine interaction design, advanced design, and other challenges in product development, with multiple touchpoints to deliver high-quality driving experiences for drivers and the broader product and trucking ecosystem.

Below are the final product release images, in which I contributed to the UX/UI development of the interior components and software features for the digital interfaces of the Driving and Living environment.

HMI and UX designing,

Status: Complete. The product was released in 2025 and is on the market

Outcome: Implemented the foundation interaction for the product that will be used safely by drivers to finish their task and deliver to consumers

Driving and Living Environment Control Module:

  • Architected the end-to-end layout of the control module based on feature requirements, partnering closely with Industrial Design to align physical and digital interactions.

  • Designed intuitive, task-driven iconography to clearly communicate system states and actions to drivers.

  • Build information architecture and features with engineers that align with the controls.

  • Implemented pixel-perfect graphical elements, flows to perfection with an external vendor for multi-brand implementation.
